Leadership Fayetteville Class XXVIII Graduates

Fayetteville, AR – Leadership Fayetteville Class XXVIII graduated on May 14, 2015. The annual Leadership Fayetteville program exists to create a foundation from which its graduates can further expand their involvement within the Fayetteville community.

It is designed to serve as the beginning of a long-term relationship with various aspects of Fayetteville, allowing class participants to learn about numerous segments of the community as well as develop an effective network of contacts through which graduates of the program can pursue their interests in making Fayetteville a better place to live.

The goal of the program is to produce a continued stream of concerned, motivated, and educated individuals of diverse talents and interests eager to pursue and assume leadership roles and volunteer opportunities within the Fayetteville community. The class attended monthly sessions, which include, Healthcare, Education, Social Services, Government, Economic Development, History, Northwest Arkansas Day, Call to Action and Quality of Life as well as an opening retreat and an overnight visit to Little Rock for Government Day. Graduates of the class also participated in three group projects and completed several individual projects as well. As a class, the group was able to help more than 70 Fayetteville High School students attend prom by providing gently used dresses, shoes, accessories and gift cards. 

The Leadership Fayetteville program has graduated over 550 business leaders since its inception twenty-eight years ago.
