Resume CPR - 10/25/10
Partnering with the Rogers/Lowell Chamber of Commerce, the Workforce Readiness Committee of NOARK provided resume assistance to job seekers at the NWA Job Fair. Over 37 volunteers assisted 108 job seekers with resume review and writing as well as encouragement. This year a new aspect was added to the resume event to include what was called the "triage" area. Students from John Brown University Student SHRM chapter assisted those waiting in line that needed help getting started with their resume. They were talked through a series of questions relating to their qualifications, experience, skills and abilities so that when they entered the ballroom they were ready to roll getting a resume created.
