The University of Arkansas is seeking an experienced human resources professional to work with the J. William College of Arts and Sciences as a Human Resources Partner.


Detailed Job Description

The Human Resources (HR) Partner is a subject matter expert in human resources management. The HR Partner assists with strategic and service-delivery needs of the College. Additionally, the HR Partner performs assigned transactional processes of HR functions related to Recruitment; Onboarding and Engagement; Communication; Talent Management and Performance Management; Staff Development; Total Rewards; and Payroll. The HR Partner collaborates with other HR professionals on campus to effectively enhance organizational and individual employee excellence and success to support the priorities of the University of Arkansas.

Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • At least two years of full-time, progressive experience managing or administering human resource programs in staffing, employment, compensation, employee relations or performance management
