Certification Committee
Responsible for promoting the benefits of the PHR and SPHR professional certifications awarded by SHRM's Human Resource Certification Institute, planning and conducting Certification Review Courses, and providing access to other materials and programs that assist Chapter members who seek certification and/or re-certification.

College Relations Committee
Advisor to the local student chapters and liaison between NOARK and the student chapters. This committee monitors the NOARK scholarship endowment at the University of Arkansas for appropriate funding.

Rick Teague is a Human Resources Generalist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA), Masters Degree (MA) in Business Administration and holds the Society for Human Resources Management certification, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He has 35 years HRM experience working with three of Fortune 100s most admired Companies, McKesson, Nestle and Raytheon.
For the past 15 years he served as Vice President of Human Resources for North America’s largest custom aluminum die casting company based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Experience includes HRM assignments at the local, division and corporate levels of multinational manufacturing organizations.
For the past 12 years, Rick has spent his spare time as an adjunct professor for the MSOM (Master of Science Degree in Operations Management) offered through the University of Arkansas’ Industrial Engineering Department. His graduate level courses include Human Resources Management, Human Behavior Analysis, Management-Organization & Control, Contemporary Issues in Human Resources, and Economic Decision Making. He serves as a member of the Comprehensive Review Board for the Fayetteville Campus.
Rick is an active board member for NOARK, North Arkansas Personnel Association and currently serves as Chair of the College Relations Committee; board member of the state board of directors for the Arkansas SHRM Council – ARSHRM and serves as the State Director for College Relations; member if CAO, Compensation Association of the Ozarks. He is a regular presenter for the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center and was recently accepted by SCORE as a volunteer consultant for small business. The University of Arkansas, Global Campus, recently engaged him to teach Human Resource Professional Certification course-work. As both a SHRM regional and state director, the university’s professional development group provides a perfect venue for furthering the human resources profession. Additionally, his activities include curriculum development for Project Management Certificate programs for mid-level management and small business. He also serves as trainer for the Arkansas Municipal Clerks Certification Program.
In his spare time, Rick enjoys playing golf, scuba diving and doing community volunteer work with Arkansas Athletes Outreach, Springdale Chamber of Commerce, and the Joe Martin Stage Race. His favorite pastime activity is spending time with granddaughters, and his faithful companion Gizmo.
Communications/SHRM Foundation Committee
Provide timely information to members concerning the Chapter via the NOARK News newsletter and other communication methods. Educate chapter members on the benefits of the SHRM Foundation. Coordinate annual fundraising drive for the Foundation.

Broderick Daniels works at Northwest Arkansas Newspapers LLC (NWA Media) where he oversees all human resource-related initiatives that support organizational strategic goals. He’s been an employee of the company for more than 12 years. Broderick has been a member of NOARK since 2004 and has been active with the association for just as long. He has previously served as College Relations Chair, and on several committees. He has also served on the Arkansas SHRM State Council from 2005-2009. Broderick enjoys being an advocate for the HR profession.

Responsible for promoting an environment that recognizes, values, and celebrates the unique contributions and differences within the chapter’s membership and their organization.

Legislative Committee
Provide Chapter members with information on current legislative and regulatory issues that affect the Human Resources Management profession via Chapter publications and legislative seminars and workshops. This committee also conducts limited lobbying activities as authorized by the Board.

Cammie Scott is the President of CK Harp & Associates an organization headquartered in Springdale, AR. CK Harp & Associates works with businesses to assist them in accomplishing their goals by enhancing benefit programs, improving employee morale and growing leadership teams.
Cammie is involved in various community programs and her church. She has been recognized by various organizations for her expertise and is a frequent and entertaining speaker.
She lives in Lowell with her husband and two children.

Responsible for recruiting, member services, member orientation, and maintaining the Membership Directory.

An Arkansas native, Brent holds a Master's in Mass Communications from Arkansas Tech University. Brent has spent the last 13 years in the staffing and recruiting industry in Arkansas. Over the course of the past 13 years he has received several awards for his recruiting efforts. His most prized certification is his P.H.R. certification that he received in 2009. Prior to entering the staffing arena, Brent was an Operations Auditor for a state wide bank.
Brent currently resides in Springdale and is the proud owner of a beagle named Sallie and a Black Lab named Lillie.
Programs Committee
Responsible for developing, scheduling, and coordinating programs and seminars for the membership, and accepting reservations for monthly Chapter meetings.

Wage and Benefit Survey Committee
Coordinates the Chapter's Wage and Benefit Survey of selected positions and arranges for its sale to members and nonmembers. The Wage and Benefit Committee also serves as a resource to Chapter members on compensation issues.

Robin has worked over 10 years in Human Resources. She is currently a Senior Generalist for Shared Services with Arvest Bank Group. She graduated Summa cum Laude from John Brown University with a BSBA in Organizational Management and has a Professional Human Resources (PHR) certificate. Robin also holds a position as a Board Member for the Northwest Arkansas (NOARK) chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management, and chair of the NOARK Wage and Benefits Committee.
Workforce Readiness Committee
Seeks to partner with community educational organizations to promote workforce readiness needs.
For 2013 here are a few of the projects:
- Setting up job shadowing opportunities for UofA Upward Bound students (June)
- Setting up job shadowing opportunities for NWACC Upward Bound students (July)
- Providing mock interview CPR and resume reviews at the annual Job Fair sponsored by the Rogers/Lowell Chamber of Commerce (Sept. or Oct.)
- Researching opportunity to team up with Lowe’s and provide “job search” training for Veterans at their Fayetteville and Rogers locations.

Northwest Arkansas native and University of Arkansas Walton College of Business graduate, Cody Ward received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management with a minor in Social Work. For the past eight years, Cody has worked in all aspects of Human Resources including recruiting, payroll, benefits, new employee orientation, and account management. Cody has experience working in a wide range of industries from Transportation to Information Technology. Even though his clientele has been very diverse, he’s succeeded on all stages due to his communication skills and ability to solve his clients’ needs.
