Our inaugural year featured Captain Mike Abrashoff, author of It’s Your Ship, who became the Commander of the U.S.S. Benfold at age 36. Capt. Abrashoff took this crew with low morale and poor performance results and turned it into the #1 ship in the Pacific Fleet. Our 2014 headline speaker was David Horsager, author of the #2 Wall Street Journal bestselling book The Trust Edge: How Top Leaders Gain Faster Results, Deeper Relationships, and a Strong Bottom Line.
Previous Session Leaders have included executives from Tyson Foods, Procter & Gamble, Walmart, J.B. Hunt, University of Arkansas, Mitchell Communications Group and many more outstanding leaders throughout our region.
What does this conference benefit?
All proceeds from this annual conference go to support the Leader in Me Program implemented into local elementary schools’ curriculum. Modeled after Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, this program cultivates our future leaders and workforce.
