Join us for our "NOARK END OF YEAR CELEBRATION"
Join us as we recognize those that have helped make this organization great. We will have our annual award ceremony...and then we will also complete our induction of the 2020 NOARK Board!!! Cathleen Hoffman, ARSHRM State Director will be performing the ceremony. We will have fun give aways too!!! Join us for lots of great food...great friends...and great fun!!!
Members, this year we are partnering with Camp Alliance to help them provide a happy holiday for over 250 children of local currently serving and deceased military personnel. Each year Camp Alliance collects applications from military families in need and provides infant to 16 year old children of those families with items on their holiday wish lists.
This year the lists include warm jackets, sweaters, socks, hats, gloves, basket balls, soccer balls, sports gear, ear buds, phone chargers, plush toys, art supplies, coloring books, story books, building blocks, legos, and anything else you think a child would want.
To help make our End of Year Celebration especially festive, we are asking you to bring the gifts you wish to donate to our Dec 12 meeting (whether you are attending or not). Camp Alliance representatives will be at our meeting to thank us and collect the items.
Let's overwhelm them with our generosity. These children deserve our best effort. But don't just stop at what you can donate. Involve your teams and donate as a team. Save your receipts. A member of the NOARK board will sign your receipt as acknowledgement of your donation for tax purposes.
Don't have time to shop? I have it on good authority that these children like gift cards, too. Especially the teens.
We know that the holidays are expensive and stressful for us all. Even the smallest gift is a treasure to a child in need and will be so appreciated by his or her serving parent(s).
