Job Summary
As the Chapter Administrator for NOARK, you will be pivotal in supporting our human resources society's operations and outreach. This position requires a dynamic and organized individual who can manage various administrative, communication, and event-related tasks to promote the society's mission and engage with our members effectively.
Detailed Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management:
Create and schedule engaging social media posts aligned with NOARK's branding.
Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and foster community engagement.
2. Website Updates:
Maintain and update the NOARK website with relevant content, news, and event information.
Ensure the website's usability and functionality.
3. Marketing and Branding:
Contribute to marketing strategies to promote NOARK events and initiatives.
Maintain and promote the NOARK brand identity across various channels.
4. Newsletters:
Create and distribute newsletters to NOARK members, providing updates on events, industry news, and relevant HR topics.
5. Monthly Board Meetings:
Attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings.
Post documented monthly minutes compiled by the Secretary and assist in implementing decisions and action items.
6. Event Support:
Assist in organizing and executing NOARK events, including workshops, seminars, and conferences.
Help with logistics, registration, and member communication related to events.
7. Mail:
Check the NOARK post office box weekly.
About the Company
The Northwest Arkansas Human Resources Association (NOARK) has been providing service to the Human Resources community of Northwest Arkansas since September 2, 1971. NOARK is a not-for-profit organization with a membership of more than 300+ Human Resource professionals, with over 225 companies represented. As the local SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) affiliate Chapter 0148, NOARK has been awarded numerous awards including most recently the "2020 SHRM Excel Award: Platinum Chapter."
Qualifications/Requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
Basic knowledge of website content management systems (CMS).
Interest in human resources and a desire to support the HR community.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
Benefits
Compensation: $1,500 $2,000 per month
