Job Performance

8am-12:30pm Front Desk Receptionist/HR Duties, 12:30 pm-4:30pm HR Duties:

·   Answers phone calls, pages employees, greets/supports visitors, and provides appropriate information or takes messages.

·   Assists with all benefits administration, and employee questions about benefits.

·   Maintains filing systems, both electronic and physical, and other duties as directed.

·   Actively manages social media job postings, schedules interviews, and online applications.

·   Records Training records in Training Manager.

·   Assists with scheduling physicals and onboarding processes including training.

·   Keeps required AAP data updated in Visual HR and spreadsheets.

·   Assists in employee recognition and achievement programs, and special events.

·   Keep bulletin boards updated including law posters.

·   Able to cross-train for other positions.

·   Duties include collate and distribute mail as needed.

·   Coordinate Certificates of Insurance with vendors and contractors as needed.

·   Assists with invoicing as needed.

·   Updates and maintains customer and vendor information as needed.

·   Maintains strict confidentiality in all Accounting and HR functions.

·   Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.

·   Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and instructions.

·   Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Physical Requirements

·   Adequate mobility to move about the office and manufacturing plant floor as needed.

·   Must have Adequate mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength and grip requirements necessary to occasionally manipulate and/or lift products weighing up to 40 lbs.  Occasionally required to stand, constant use hands to finger handle or feel objects, frequently reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to Sit.

·   Specific vision abilities required include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

·   Must wear Safety glasses with side shields in all production areas and hearing protection must be always worn in designated areas.

·   Adequate mobility to move about the office and manufacturing plant floor as needed. 

·   This position is considered a safety sensitive position due to working with Customers, confidentiality/HIPPA, and exposure to the manufacturing environment, moving machinery, and forklift traffic.

Most of the parts are used in medical testing equipment seen in Doctor offices, Labs, and Eye clinics across the world. FM has been around for 40+ years and have many Associates that has 30+ tenner with the company.


Qualifications/Requirements

Education, Skills/Qualification:

High School Diploma/GED and 1-year related office experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Must be proficient using the Internet. Strong bookkeeping and administrative skills. Effective written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate, read, and write in the English Language. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
