Managing Projects is a specially designed for professionals who find themselves responsible for managing small to mid-sized projects with little to no previous training to do so.  Whether you are a functional manager, IT, or human resource professional you will benefit from the practical, hands-on approach of this course.

The course is presented in five sessions, including practical activities, case studies, on-line learning materials, and an introduction to project technologies.  Participants will select a project to work on for the duration of the course and will demonstrate competency in the stated learning objectives by presenting project results during the last class session. Participants are also required to bring a laptop with them for in-class use.  Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion from the University of Arkansas Global Campus.  Managing Projects complies with the Learning Resource Network (LERN) requirements for the Bronze level of intensity and comprehensiveness.
