Patti Leith, CEO, EDGES, Inc.

With more than 16 years of corporate leadership experience, Patti worked more than 8 years at an Executive level with Wal-Mart/SAM’S Club and Food Lion Stores. Her corporate responsibilities included Operations, Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Union Avoidance, Organizational Development, Succession Planning, and Corporate Communications/Meetings Production.  She also has experience with Sheraton/ ITT.  In 1999, her People Development team at SAM’S Club was recognized by Northwest Arkansas SHRM (NOARK)/ and she was named  “Boss of the Year”. 

Starting EDGES in 2001, in order to help companies and people exceed their goals, Patti oversees the company’s services in Growth Planning, Executive Coaching, and Team Collaboration. With an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (and Human Resources Management), and a minor in Statistics and Computer Science, she has authored and validated several skills assessment instruments, including the Inter Face Methods™ Instrument, to foster improved relational influence and team collaboration. 

 

SPEAKER-

Ken Leith, CEO, (e)Gauge, Inc.

With over 25 years of experience as a leader in Business Management, Strategic Planning, Customer Service, Purchasing, Quality Management and Production, Ken was most recently in an Executive level position over Production for a Washington, DC Division of Brookfield Homes.  His corporate career also included time with Ryland Homes and Regency Homes as Director of Customer Service. 

During his career he has lead the successful conversion of under performing teams into top producers.  He started and led the Quality Council, establishing quality standards with vendor partners to deliver quality homebuilding.  In that capacity, he assisted vendor partners in adopting a culture of quality, safety and collaboration.  His work has included a strong focus on helping organizations to build metrics, ensuring a productive culture.  He has comprehensive experience across his career in the detailed analysis and documentation necessary to create and enhance efficiency.

Joining EDGES in 2006, Ken brought with him a vision for quality, efficiency and systemic alignment.   In 2009, he and Patti opened (e)Gauge, Inc., which he runs today.  (e)Gauge, Inc. is a software services company offering tools for organizations, designed to align their resources to ensure goals achievement. 

Their Publications

Patti published “Judge Not, A Guide to Influence People Who Think Differently” in 2012.  She has authored white papers regarding Strategic Planning, Strategic Collaboration and Competency-Based Hiring. 

Ken has completed research regarding generational differences in the workplace.   He has authored white papers regarding Process Efficiency, Technology Integration and Generational Differences.

Together, they co-author guest columns for the NW Arkansas Business Journal, Talk Business Arkansas.  They were recently published with colleague Gary Ades in Food Safety Magazine.   They are currently working on two book collaborations.  The first will be released by Elvesior Press next year and is with Gary Ades about culture and structure to support and embrace food safety.  The other is a joint effort regarding methods to build successful growth strategies.
